The Cherry Orchard League is the Premier league for Short Mat Bowls in the Isle of Man.
The first season opened in the winter of 1987 and was won by the Blockbusters who still have a team competing in the league today.
Recently the league has undergone some format changes. A team only needs 3 players to compete now, with 2 players playing pairs, a player playing a game of 4 bowl singles before teaming up for a final game of triples.
