Sunday 7 March 2010

Castletown Southsiders stayed top of the Cherry Orchard League with a 5-2 win over the Laxey Minors at the NSC last Sunday.

The day started badly for the Southsiders, with David Cottier & Peter Coward coming back from 8-0 down to win the pairs 13-11 for the Minors. Sam Peel soon levelled the game with a fine 17-9 win in his singles before teaming up with Jayne Holland & Emma Smith to take the triples 7-6 to complete the victory.
