The singles saw the Sharks increase their lead & the pressure on the Quads with Michael Collister fighting back to win 11-9 against David Cottier and Richard Faragher beating James Teare 20-2. Stephen Gale then won his singles 14-7 amd with the pressure mounting Eddie Brew found himself 2 shots down to Seamus Whelan before drawing his final shot to take a two and the all important point to secure the title for the Quads. Douglas Sharks completed a fine victory with an 8-6 win in the fours to fall just one point short of the Douglas Quads in the final table.
