In the penultimate week of the Cherry Orchard League Colby managed to move off the bottom of the table while Erin Elite moved up to fourth place before the title chasing sides play next week.

Erin Elite managed to win all their singles against Colby with Sheila Durcan winning 13-7, Steve Durcan 8-6 and Bernie Durcan 19-4 to claim a 7-2 victory. Colby managed to get off the bottom of the table thanks to a superb performance against Ballugh. Rita Woodworth won 13-7 while Sylvia Maddrell won her game 12-9 and Stephen Bradley won 13-10. While Colby have finished their season now Ballaugh could move back ahead of them if they win one of their singles games against Douglas Townies next week.
