They take top spot on chalk difference from Ann Hollingworth & Sylvia Maddrell after three convincing wins. The first game saw them defeat Seamus Whelan & Collin Holland 18-7 before beating Matt Quayle & David Cottier 21-5. They completed an excellent days work with a 14-6 victory over James Teare & Harry Minor.

Ann Hollingworth & Sylvia Maddrell dropped their first points of the campaign after initially beating Georgina Moore & Josh Ffrench 14-11 they then drew 9-9 with James Teare & Harry Minor before losing 16-9 to Eddie Brew & Chris Holland. That win for Brew & Holland keeps them in touch in 4th place. Seamus Whelan & Collin Holland sit in third thanks to a 15-4 win over Bernie & Steven Durcan.
