The top two of Stephen Gale & Steve Durcan met in week two of the new Isle of Man Singles League, with Gale coming out ontop with a hard fought 8-6 victory.

It was Durcan’s first defeat but he responded well to beat Sheila Durcan 11-2, who herself got her first win of the season with a last end 9-8 victory over Seamus Whelan.

Gale won his second game of the night with a convincing 17-2 win over Whelan, who is 6th thanks to a 1 shot advantage after the head-to-head results with Christine Holland & Sheila Durcan.

Collin Holland moved into third place after an 8-6 victory over Harry Minor who drops to third. Collin Holland also enjoyed another win, this time 18-6 over Christine Holland who had earlier lost out 8-6 to Jayne Smith. Smith lost out to Minor in the final game of the night after a final end measure saw Minor take an 8-7 win.
