The MSMBA committee met on Monday (7th December) night to discuss the changes to the calendar after the flood damage to the bowls hall at the NSC.

After talking to the staff at the NSC it is  highly unlikely that the bowls hall will be repaired before the end of March so therefore the rest of the calendar will obviously have to change. Sunday’s Cherry Orchard League has been postponed while discussions are on going to find a venue large enough to accommodate the.remaining 2 fixtures.

The Haldane Fisher Fours League will go ahead at Ballaugh. The league will be played over 2 Sundays on the 24th & 31st January 2016 while an open competition will be held on the 17th January there as well. The MSMBA would like to thank Tony Quine for his assistance in this.

The rearranged Cherry Orchard League fixtures will be announced ASAP as will any other changes to the three remaining competitions. However at this stage it looks like the Peter Coward Pairs League will be cancelled this season.
