Defending champions Seamus Whelan & Collin Holland made it through to the final of the 4 Bowl Pairs last Sunday and will face 3 time winner Stephen Gale and newcomer Matthew Keggen.

Whelan & Holland were drawn in group B along with Matt Quayle & David Cotteir and Eddie Brew & Chris Holland. The defending champions started with a 10-3 victory over Quayle & Cottier but Brew & Chris Holland also had an impressive win, beating Quayle & Cottier 14-1. The final game of the group would see the winners progress to the final and it was Whelan & Holland who ran out 9-4 winners to make their fourth final in the last 5 years.

Matthew Keggen & Stephen Gale won group A with a 100% record after beating Georgina Moore & Josh Ffrench 8-5 in the opening game before beating Richard Faragher & Dave McTaggart 9-3 to put themselves in a strong position going into the final game against Ann Hollingworth & Rita Woodworth which Keggen & Gale ran out comfortable winners with a 14-4 victory.

The final will take place on Sunday 3rd March after the Cherry Orchard League has finished. The 4 Bowl Singles has also been moved to Sunday 17th March to allow for a Round-Robin Competition to take place on the 10th March.
