In the penultimate week of the Cherry Orchard League Colby managed to move off the bottom of the table while Erin Elite moved up to fourth place before the title chasing sides play next week.
Laxey Minors are the surprise leaders of the Cherry Orchard League as the season enters its final weeks after winning both their triples matches at the weekend.

As the deadline for all teams to be submitted to the World Bowls Council, Isle of Man manager Seamus Whelan has confirmed his team for the 2016 World Championships in Leigh, England on the 18th – 20th March.
Collin Holland, Seamus Whelan, Michael Collister & Stephen Gale of the Douglas Sharks produced a dominant display in the final three games in the Haldane Fisher league to take the title from Ronaldsway Rockets.
