Michael Collister & Stephen Gale won all four games last Sunday at the NSC to keep them top of the Peter Coward Pairs League from Bernie & Steve Durcan who also keep their 100% record, with the latter having played one game less.

Collister & Gale started the day with a 11-6 victory over Moira Anderson & Jill Quayle before coming through a tight win over Ann Hollingworth & Sylvia Maddrell 10-7. Wins over Collin Holland & Seamus Whelan (13-5) and Chris Holland & Jayne Smith (13-3) meant they finished the day top of the table.

Bernie & Steve Durcan kept their fine run going with a 16-2 victory over Richard Faragher & David Cottier. They also had impressive wins of 12-5 over Jill Quayle & Moira Anderson and 12-4 over Ann Hollingworth & Sylvia Maddrell to move themselves up into second place.

Eddie Brew & Harry Minor move up to third  after wins against Quayle & Anderson and Hollingworth & Maddrell as well before beating Collin Holland & Seamus Whelan 11-6. Chris Holland & Jayne Smith complete the top 4 on 15 points after a win over Collin Holland & Seams Whelan kept them in touch.
