League leaders Ronaldsway Blockbusters versus Colby started off well in the Singles with Collin Holland having a hard fought game with Matt Quayle winning 10-6, Chris Holland going to the last end against Ann Hollingworth 11-8, Seamus Whelan won 17-7 against new boy Bernard Kaighin. In the Triples on the last end with Blockbusters leading 6-5 Ann Hollingworth played length bowls to make it 7-6, with Ronaldsway winning the game 7-2.
The Ronaldsway Blockbusters got off to the perfect start in defense of their title last Sunday at the NSC, beating Ballaugh B 9-0.
