Jayne Smith & Stephen Gale kept their 100% record going with 4 wins from 4 in the Peter Coward Pairs League last Sunday at the NSC.

Starting the day 3 points behind Sheila & Bernie Durcan but with a game in hand they quickly went about closing the gap thanks to a 13-7 victory over Pat Mason & Tony Quine before beating the Durcans 17-5.  In the third session they beat Chris Holland & Clare Holland (standing in for Harry Minor) 14-3 before ending the day with a 15-3 victory over Seamus Whelan & Collin Holland.

Seamus Whelan & Collin Holland move to second in the table despite going down to a 9-7 defeat by James Teare & Ali Millard (standing in for Stephen Bradley). They managed to get wins over Richard Faragher & Maurice O’Reilly (12-4) and Sheila & Bernie Durcan (15-5).

The Durcans drop to third, tied on points with Pat Mason & Tony Quine, while thanks to 3 wins out of 4 today James Teare & Ali Millard move up to 5th spot.
